There is nothing like having a beautiful backyard where you and your family can spend quality time for fun, relaxation, and of course, gatherings with friends.

Craft Design America was hired to rebuild an unpermitted Retaining wall, as well as expand the backyard. Our talented team of Architectural designers applied their creativity and knowledge and designed a beautiful and inviting backyard for our client. Being of Indian origin, the Owner wanted a backyard with a “touch” of his native country, India.

We took his desire to heart and first, we expanded the overall backyard adding an additional 3,000 sq ft. Then we increased the height of the retaining wall while providing space for a natural garden. After rebuilding the whole backyard, we added a charming mural that additionally added a “feeling of being home” and gave a unique and stylish look to the backyard. Lastly, we permitted the new Retaining wall which was a requirement by the City of Los Angeles, and it gave the owner a piece of mind.

The Craft Design America team of professionals handled the entire process: from assessing the site to proposing design ideas to creating plans and submitting them to the city to obtaining a Building permit to providing Construction management.

The result: a very happy client who now enjoys with his family the backyard he always dreamed of.
